Adjoining the Farm Market are several paddocks
which house an assortment of different animals. These have proved
to be popular with children who feed and pet them whilst their parents
do the shopping.
Rafiki, our very friendly water-buffalo is also popular, as he will
usually bound up to the fence to greet people, and enjoys a good stroke.
He is becoming a bit of a thug and keeps tearing off the rails to
his fence when he gets bored, so please come and keep him amused!!
Food for the animals can be bought in the shop and provides much entertainment
for the children, big and small.
Our family of vietnamese pot bellied pigs have been breeding again.
One produced a litter of piglets, but then she rolled over all but
one of them. The sole survivor was ignored by his mum and so he has
been hand reared at the farmhouse by Sue. His name is "Chops"
and he is growing fast!!!
